My name is Mike Harris, and I'm a Computer Science student at the University of California, Davis. I'll be graduating June of 2007. I'm currently looking for a job in operating systems.

I'm a huge Linux "enthusiast." I've been using it exclusively on the desktop for over 7 years, and I've never looked back. Sideways, but never back.

[edit] What I Do

I host this Wiki. My day job is web programmer / server admin, so it's pretty familiar. It's hosted on an old Alpha desktop box. Interesting!

I'm learning NES programming in my spare time (spare time? ha!). My current NES related project is hooking up the NES to an ethernet controller and implementing a TCP/IP stack. If you have to ask why, it's not for you.

I also patrol the recent changes on the Wiki and clean up grammar and spelling.
